2023 Kawasaki Versys 1000 gets a standard DC power outlet that used to be offered as an accessory
Kawasaki Motors has finally introduced the updated version of Versys 1000 to the country. The 2023 model looks identical to the outgoing version. However, it receives some minor updates that make it a bit more expensive.
Speaking of price, the 2023 Versys 1000 is priced at 12.19 rupees (ex-showroom). At this price, the bike finishes with BMW F900 XR and Triumph Tiger 850 Sport horns. It is offered in a single variant.

In terms of design, the 2023 Kawasaki Versys 1000 shines with a two-piece headlight and an adjustable windshield. The fairing is further integrated with cornering lights. There’s also a luggage rack to the rear and a side-mounted exhaust. The bike is offered in two-tone metallic matte graphene steel gray with metallic spark black paint.
The equipment list includes a semi-digital instrument cluster with an analog tachometer and a multifunction LED screen. The bike is also equipped with a Bosch IMU that controls the anti-lock braking system, electronic cruise control, Kawasaki corner management function, smartphone connectivity, traction control system, assist and slipper clutch, among other things.
The 2023 Kawasaki Versys 1000 is powered by a 1043cc inline 4-cylinder engine that produces 118.2 hp at 9000 rpm and 102 Nm of torque at 7500 rpm. The engine is also coupled to a 6-speed gearbox via a slipping and auxiliary clutch.
As for the suspension, the bike gets 43mm inverted forks up front and a mono shock absorber at the rear. Braking power is handled by a dual 310mm disc up front and a single 250mm rotor towards the rear end.
