- Oppo will launch the Find X6 series on March 21st.
- The company’s latest teaser confirms the huge circular camera island on the phones.
It appears that a number of new phones will be launched next week. After Huawei confirmed the P60 series and the launch of the Mate X3 for March 23, Oppo has too revealed that the Find X6 series will debut on March 21st.
Oppo’s latest flagship phones have been in the news for a while. Leaks suggest there could be three Find X6 devices this year – two Pro models and one Standard variant. However, we may end up with only two versions, a vanilla and a pro model.
At least one of the phones, likely the Find X6 Pro, will feature a gigantic camera module on the back. Oppo’s latest teaser gives us a glimpse, but a recently leaked image courtesy of Tipster Ice Universe offers a much better look.
Oppo is advised to use Sony’s 1-inch IMX989 sensor for the phone’s main camera. This is the same sensor as in the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. Other expected camera sensors on the phone are a 50MP ultrawide sensor, a 50MP zoom lens, and a 32MP selfie camera. Hasselblad tuning will reappear on the phone.
Other upgrades on the Find X6 Pro seem pretty obvious. Leaks suggest the phone will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, the same 5,000mAh battery and 50W wireless charging as the Find X5 Pro, a 6.7-inch LTPO display, 8/12GB RAM and 128/256/512 GB of storage will be equipped. The wired charging speed could be increased from 80W to 100W.
Finally, Oppo’s latest teaser also suggests that at least one of the Find X6 models could come with a leather finish on the back.
Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo has teased its Find X6 series, which is set to debut on 21 March. Reports suggest the line will include a pro model featuring a large camera module, with leaks suggesting it will feature four sensors, including a 1-inch IMX989 main camera. The phone is also predicted to include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 processor, a 5,000mAh battery and 50W wireless charging, along with a 6.7-inch LTPO display, 8GB or 12GB of RAM and between 128GB and 512GB of storage. One Find X6 variant may also feature a leather finish.
