NEW DELHI: South African pacemaker Sisanda Magala will join the Chennai Super Kings as a replacement for the New Zealand bowler Kyle Jamieson for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League.
The 28-year-old Kiwi, who was bought by the franchise for Rs 1 crore, was previously ruled out of the tournament due to an injury.
Although Magala has only played 4 T20Is for South Africa, the right-arm pacesetter has extensive experience in the game’s shortest format in franchise cricket.
