Shikhar reportedly came up with the idea of selling samosas while he was studying and he had a dream of selling samosas outside of State Bank of India (SBI) branches. But considering societal norms and his degrees, he decided to become a scientist. One day in 2015, when he saw a boy crying over samosa in a food court, he decided to celebrate India’s most popular snack, quit his prestigious job as a scientist, moved to Bengaluru and opened Samosa Singh.
